Seven Fort Lauderdale restaurants whose own sites list a patio, outdoor seating or waterfront dining: the beach, the Intracoastal, Las Olas and US 1.
Last checked Oct. 9, 2026. Refreshed every three months.
Most outdoor tables in Fort Lauderdale face water. On this list they sit on the beach, on the Intracoastal Waterway at Lauderdale Marina and on NE 32nd Avenue, and on the New River at Las Olas. Three more have patios or sidewalk seating inland, on South Andrews Avenue, North Federal Highway and East Oakland Park Boulevard.
How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside the Fort Lauderdale city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 9, 2026. A place is on this list only if its own site says it has a patio, outdoor seating or dockside or waterfront dining; we added Shooters Waterfront on that basis from its own site. Many other restaurants have a few outdoor tables without saying so online. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run one of these places?
