Ten Mexican and Tex-Mex restaurants inside Fort Lauderdale city limits, on Las Olas, Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard and Federal Highway, with hours.
Last checked Oct. 9, 2026. Refreshed every three months.
Fort Lauderdale’s Mexican restaurants cluster in two places: Las Olas Boulevard downtown and Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard (A1A) on the beach. A few more sit on Federal Highway (US 1) in the north end of the city and on East Commercial Boulevard.
How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside the Fort Lauderdale city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 9, 2026. We added Lona Cocina & Tequileria from its own website and confirmed its address is inside the city with the U.S. Census Bureau’s geocoder. We left out a taqueria whose own site now lists no Fort Lauderdale location, and places whose sites we could not reach to confirm. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run one of these places? Write to us to correct your entry.
