Valentine’s events

We have not yet confirmed a 2027 Valentine’s dinner, concert or dance in Fort Lauderdale from an organizer’s own page. Restaurants, hotels and the downtown groups usually post them in January. Date ideas that weekend

Bonnet House Museum & Gardens. The historic estate at 900 N. Birch Road, between the Intracoastal and the beach, is open for self-guided visits Tuesday to Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the grounds close at 5 p.m. Bonnet House lists its closures as Mondays, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day, so it is open as usual on Sunday, Feb. 14. Guided tours of the house run Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. and need pre-registration. Tickets: hours and admission.

A sunset cruise. Water Taxi’s Sunset Music Cruise leaves from Shooters Waterfront, 3033 NE 32nd Ave., with happy hour from 5 p.m. and sailing at 6:30 p.m. It runs monthly and is limited to 100 guests, with a sunset toast on board. Check its page for the February date.

Stranahan House. The city’s oldest surviving home, at 335 SE 6th Ave. on the New River, runs docent tours five to six days a week, with the last tour at 3:15 p.m. The museum suggests booking ahead and points visitors to the Riverside Hotel, 620 E. Las Olas Blvd., for parking and GPS. Details: Stranahan House.

The MKT at The LOOP. The open-air market at Las Olas Oceanside Park, 3000 E. Las Olas Blvd., runs 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, with produce, made-to-order food and handmade goods by the ocean. Schedule: the beach business district’s events calendar.

Dinner on Las Olas. The Las Olas Association lists the boulevard’s restaurants and happy hours, and its parking page lists the nearby garages. Restaurant Valentine’s menus will be added here as restaurants post them on their own sites.
