Lifeguard certification and other programs: call 954-828-4580. Summer 2027 hours will be added here when the city posts them.

Neighborhood pools. Carter Park and Riverland Park each have a pool with a water playground, according to the city’s park pages. Summer 2027 hours are not posted yet; call the park office.

Splash pads and water play

The city’s water playgrounds are at the Carter Park and Riverland Park pools. Holiday Park’s playground is closed while parks bond work builds a new one; the city expects to finish by summer 2027. More playgrounds are in our kids’ activities guide and parks and trails guide.

The beach is the other summer pool: check Fort Lauderdale Ocean Rescue’s beach conditions and swim near a lifeguard tower.
