State report card
Whiddon-Rogers is not in Florida’s 2026 school grades file. Florida can rate alternative schools under a separate school improvement rating system instead of A to F grades. The center’s state report card holds its test results, graduation figures and student counts; it is an interactive dashboard that could not be read for this page.
Who it serves and how students enroll
Whiddon-Rogers has no attendance zone. Its high school page says its high school students include those who need to recover credits or raise their grade point average, pass a required state test or an alternative such as the ACT, SAT or PERT, find new options to finish a diploma, or want career and technical training.
The center’s Middle School Academy is a yearlong program in which students recover middle school coursework and can earn high school credits. Students must be at least 15 before entry and should be entering seventh or eighth grade, the page says. Ask the front office or your current school’s counselor how a student is referred.
Seagull School consolidated. On Jan. 21, 2026, the School Board consolidated Seagull Alternative High School into Whiddon-Rogers Education Center, according to the district’s May 12 Redefining Our Schools update (PDF). Seagull, on SW 28th Street, had 133 students on the 2025 count and none on the 2026 count.
