Attendance zone and feeder schools
Check any address with the district’s Find My School tool or the Fort Lauderdale High zone map (PDF). About 85% of the zone’s area is inside Fort Lauderdale and about 12% is in Wilton Manors.
Comparing the district’s middle and high school attendance boundaries:
- Sunrise Middle covers almost all of the zone; a small area west of downtown is in the Parkway Middle zone.
- The elementary zones inside it are Harbordale (about 37% of the zone’s area), Bennett (20%), Bayview (19%), Wilton Manors Elementary (12%), Walker (7%) and North Side (5%).
North Fork Elementary closed. On Jan. 21, 2026, the School Board consolidated North Fork Elementary into Croissant Park, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Thurgood Marshall and Walker elementaries for 2026-27, according to the district’s May 12 Redefining Our Schools update (PDF). Broward County’s boundary map data still draws the old North Fork zone, so the shares on this page treat it separately; the district’s 2026-27 zone maps and Find My School tool are the authority.
No proposal in the district’s Redefining Our Schools plan for 2026-27, presented to the School Board on Oct. 6, names Fort Lauderdale High.

Its career and vocational tracks page lists first responder and health science, emergency dispatch, criminal justice and law, marketing and entrepreneurship, culinary arts (ProStart), Navy JROTC, information technology and TV production. The district’s May 12 Redefining Our Schools update (PDF) adds a sports, recreation and entertainment marketing program across the Fort Lauderdale feeder pattern: Fort Lauderdale High, Sunrise Middle and Bennett Elementary.
