Labor Day Block Party at the Galt

The City of Fort Lauderdale Parks and Recreation Department holds the block party with the North Beach Restaurants and Shoppes, on NE 32nd Street between A1A and NE 33rd Avenue, in the Galt Ocean Mile neighborhood on the north end of the beach.

The 2026 edition, the sixth, was 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6, 2026, and free. The city’s event listing described:

  • A vintage car showcase
  • Local vendors and sidewalk tag sales from area boutiques
  • A street-side food and drink court from nearby restaurants and bars
  • A Galt-themed community photo art project
  • Giveaways through the evening

2027: the city has not announced a date. We will add it here when the city posts it.
