Breeze will fly from Fort Lauderdale to Charleston, West Virginia, Burlington, Vermont, and Stewart-Newburgh, New York, from May 26, 2027, each with one stop.
Breeze Airways will add three new routes out of Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport next spring. The flights go to Charleston, West Virginia; Burlington, Vermont; and Stewart-Newburgh, New York.
None of them is a nonstop. Breeze sells all three as “BreezeThru” service: one stop on the way, but passengers stay on the same plane.
The airline announced the routes Tuesday as part of a 22-route expansion, published in full by Aero Crew News. Breeze said the flights went on sale the same day.
The three new Fort Lauderdale routes
| Route | Days | First flight |
|---|---|---|
| Fort Lauderdale to Charleston, W.Va. | Wednesdays and Saturdays | May 26, 2027 |
| Fort Lauderdale to Burlington, Vt. | Thursdays and Sundays | May 27, 2027 |
| Fort Lauderdale to Stewart-Newburgh, N.Y. | Mondays and Fridays | May 28, 2027 |
Each route runs in both directions on the same days, according to the announcement.
The Charleston on this list is the West Virginia capital, served by West Virginia International Yeager Airport. It is not Charleston, South Carolina.
Where the stop is
The announcement does not say where the planes stop. The same release adds 11 nonstop routes to and from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Two of them, from Burlington and from Stewart-Newburgh, start the same week and run on the same days as the Fort Lauderdale flights from those cities.
Breeze has not published fares for the three Fort Lauderdale routes. The “from $49” one-way price in the announcement applies to other routes in the expansion, not these.
“Every route we add to our network starts with the same question: where can Breeze’s direct service bring travelers a convenience they don’t already enjoy today?” said David Neeleman, Breeze’s founder and CEO.
Breeze said the additions take it to 95 cities.
What it means for you
- No change before next summer. The first of the new flights leaves Fort Lauderdale Wednesday, May 26, 2027.
- Two flights a week each way on each route, not daily service.
- Check the trip time before you book. A one-stop flight takes longer than a nonstop. Breeze sells the flights on its Fort Lauderdale page.
- Fares and schedules can change. Breeze’s terms say routes, schedules and prices are subject to change without notice.
